Don Franks is a professor in health fitness exercise and chair of the Department of Kinesiology at the University of Maryland. Franks is a Fellow of the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM), the American Academy of Kinesiology health fitness exercise and Physical Education (AAKPE), health fitness exercise and the Research Consortium of the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation health fitness exercise and Dance (AAHPERD).
