Baechle, EdD, CSCS,*D; NSCA-CPT,*D, is the executive director of the National Strength fitness training certification and Conditioning Association (NSCA) Certification Commission. In 1985 he was named the NSCA’s Strength fitness training certification and Conditioning Professional of the Year. He has received numerous awards, including the Lifetime Achievement Award from the NSCA fitness training certification and the Excellence in Teaching Award from Creighton University.
