About the Author Debi Pillarella, MEd, is the owner of BodyWorks, Inc., aspen club fitness and consultant to a number of fitness aspen club fitness and health programs. A fitness professional since 1980, Debi has focused on teaching step aerobics since 1989. She has choreographed aspen club fitness and starred in numerous videos on step exercise, including BodyWorks Step Right Up, which she also directed aspen club fitness and produced, as well as Step Right Up, aspen club fitness and Shape magazine’s Totally Legs aspen club fitness and Legs, Legs, Legs. Debi has received numerous awards in her field. In 1985 she was recognized both as a Certified Fitness Professional by the Aerobics aspen club fitness and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) aspen club fitness and as a Gold Certified Fitness Professional by the American Council on Exercise. In 1990, she received an award of excellence for the video Energy Explosion from the AFAA. In 1993, she was awarded the Certificate of Merit for Fitness Programming by Fitness Management magazine. And, in 1996, she was honored for her educational expertise in Who’s Who in American Education.
